At about 80 km in the South of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ban Krut is a highly tourist destination for Thai tourists arriving by group buses. So this haven of tranquility with its long beach, the mountains with a golden-roofed Wat Tang Sai temple with its huge Buddha of the same brightness.
The beach is ideally oriented for a sunset on the horizon. Besides, the waterfront and the Wat Tang Sai with its Pra Mahatat Jede Pukde Prakad pagoda and the big Pra Phut Takitti Sirichai bouddha. There is also a small port in a river between the beach and the road that goes to the mountain of the temple behind the Ruen Talay Resort. Rent a scooter or a bike and go around, you will find many pieces of deserted beach. If you stay several days you usually can negotiate the price of the room down.
